Beginning Monday, March 10, 2025 – Friday, March 14, 2025, the Clerk’s Office will be CLOSED TO THE PUBLIC for service upgrades. This temporary closure will allow the department to update and optimize processes and procedures in order to improve efficiencies. During this time, residents will be unable to access the Clerk’s Office in-person; birth certificates can be obtained at the Markham Courthouse. HARVEY, Ill. (Jan. 6, 2025) — HARVEY, Ill. (Dec. 30, 2024) — Mayor Christopher J. Clark has authorized the use of Harvey City Hall’s council chambers to host the Thornton Township Board of Trustees meeting on December 30, 2024, at 4 p.m. The decision was made in light of the Township’s current inability to use its building due to a lapse in insurance coverage.
“Thornton Township’s operations directly impact the residents of Harvey, and it is in our best interest to ensure the business of the Township continues without interruption,” Mayor Clark said. “By hosting their meeting at City Hall, we are supporting not only our community but also the larger Township, ensuring stability and progress during this time.”
The City of Harvey is committed to fostering collaboration and providing support to address challenges that affect the well-being of its residents.
