For all garbage/trash collection related issues, please contact Republic Disposal at (708) 385-8252.  A representative is available to assist with garbage/trash collection issues or concerns and any questions regarding yard waste disposal and pickup.

Have bulk items, large items or yard waste to be disposed of?

Republic Disposal can help with that.  For bulk and large items, please be sure to place items in the area that your normal garbage/trash is collected from (ex: in the alley or in the front of your residence).  Items can be no longer than 4 ft in length, 4 inches in diameter and must be bundled together in order to ensure pick up.
 Items will be collected on your regular collection day.

For items considered too large for disposal by Republic, you may schedule a pick-up with the City of Harvey Public Works Department by purchasing a garbage/debris disposal ticket from the Harvey Department of Planning and Development.  The cost for pick-up is $98.50 and must be paid before your items can be disposed.
