- $24.00 if the dog or cat is spayed or neutered
- $70.00 if the dog or cat is not spayed or not neutered
Late 3 year registration fees:
- $72.00 if the dog or cat is spayed or neutered
- $210.00 if the dog or cat is not spayed or not neutered
Fees for Unsterilized Dogs
Fees for dog and cats that not spayed or neutered are higher because thousands of dogs/cats are euthanised annually or suffer as strays because of unwanted, unplanned litters that could have been prevented by spaying or neutering. One unsprayed female and her offspring can produce 67,000 puppies in just six years. Spayed and neutered dogs/cats are also healthier and have fewer medical problems. In addition, spaying and neutering can make pets less likely to run away or fight with other animals.
